Just diagnosed!

Had bloods taken last month, which show high testosterone and low shbg so gp is refering me for scan. I'm hypothyroid too image Are there any good sites or books I can use for info?? Also is scan internal or external?? How long generally does scan appointment take to come through???? :?

    Hi, saw your post hasn't been answered yet. Did you mean you've just been diagnosed ith PCOS? You could try amazon and do a search for it. I always base my decision on whether to buy a book off there by the ratings and comments left. I'm sure there must be some good books out there on PCOS. Must be a very unsettling time but if it makes you feel any better one of my friends was only telling me recently that she knows a couple of people at work who have this and have been able o conceive so try not t o worry xx
