Would you?

Hello, I was diagnosed with PCOS back in nov 2007 and got my bfp in may 2008 whilst on 50mg of clomid. We are now ttc number 2, been off the pill since December with no af's. My GP referred me back to fertility clinic, which I attended last Thursday, to be told that we would have to be referred again as a private patient and pay for treatment this time. I said that I had clomid left from last time (4 months worth) but he said to not take it unsupervised. Last time I had follicle tracking for first month, which showed ovulation, but I didn't have any tracking or bloods second time. So I'm questioning whether I really need to be supervised, which will take 6-8wks to be referred again and cost hundreds of pounds, or whether I just go ahead and risk taking it myself. Has anyone got any experience of this? Anyone else been given it by GP and just taken it? Thanks x
