Implantation bleeding??

I was due for my period on the 16th of this month and nothing came until the 17th and I spotted light pink with brown discharge until yesterday evening then my flow got slightly heavier with what looked like a few clots but still not how it usually is. I usually have normal periods with heavy flow for the first 2 days the it gets lighter. Ive never experienced anything like this i was hoping someone could give me some insight
