Positive test, but am I pregnant?
I'm a bit confused and was hoping someone might be able to help me. We have been trying to conceive for just over a year and not had much luck as yet. Both have had tests (including laparoscopy for me) and no underlying issues have ben found.
I normally get my period around day 24-26 cycle (so early but regular). A few months ago I hadn't had period by day 26 so did test and got a faint positive. I then started to get a little very light bleeding (just a smudge). Did another test, got a darker positive. I felt a bit sick which I took to be a good sign despite it being v early. This continued for about 4 days, but the tests started getting lighter positive and the bleeding a little more. it ended up with the heavily and most painful period of my life on day 29 of cycle, when I then got negative.
So yesterday (day 25), when I hadn't had any period, had a metallic taste in my mouth and felt sick again, which I sometimes get the day before I'm due, I did a line pregnancy test and got a faint positive. I have then done a digital one this morning and got a "1-2 weeks". I have however got a little smudge of blood this morning (very light in colour and only when I wipe), but I can't help feeling like I can't get my hopes up because it feels like history repeating. I feel more sick today than yesterday, and I have woken up with a really bad headache, feels likely to turn to migraine. I am prone to migraines at times (not like a headache but actual migraines) and the only time the timing of these has fitted in with my cycle is when I ovulate.
Does anyone have any advice as to whether they think this is likely to be yet another case of what happened last time? And if so, why would this keep happening to someone? It seems that if I'm getting a positive things are happening, so if after over a year, why would the only times I get pregnant this happen?
Any help would be appreciated.

There is no way to tell if you will have another early miscarriage (a chemical pregnancy) You just need to treat yourself well and hope for the best. If you get very concerned by the bleeding see your Doctor.
chemical pregnancies the devastating you now know you can at least conceive.
Thanks for the reply. That's what I keep saying about the able to conceive, but it concerns me that I have a short cycle - could it mean there isn't enough time for an egg to implant before my period starts?
Might be worth mentioning that to your Doctor
