Fertility referral Wales

has anyone been through the ferrility referral process in Wales? I've just started the process after a year of ttc. Had general bloods with the gp came back ok apart from thyroid which is slightly higher advised to get bloods repeated in 6 months. I've been advised I'm on a waiting list of 26weeks for an initial appointment.
