Implantation bleeding

for the sat week or so I've been having major early preganancy symptoms but then on Sunday night I started having this pink glossy discharge. Straight away I thought that this was implatation but then in a couple of hours it got heavier and slightly more red. 

It didnt look like a period as it was glossy in colour and had a weird consistency

now I'm a fee days into experiencing  but it's gotten a lot heavier with some cramps. 

Iv called my GP and he said it sounds like there's a good chance that I'm pregnant but to me this just feels like a period? 

i really need some help and advice
