varicocele help?

Hi, I'm just wandering if anyone's partner has been diagnosed with a varicocele? 

Me and my partner have been ttc for the last year, and have suffered 2 miscarriages. We thought we should ask and see if everything was ok with us both and partner has been told he has a varicocele and we have been forwarded to a urologist as it can affect fertility. I know there is surgery that can be done and I was just wandering if anyone had any help or feedback if they had the surgery? Any help much apreciated TIA xxxx
