PCOS and TTC problems please help

Hello! I was looking at some of the post here and I thought that maybe you could give me some advice. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) 2 years ago and my doctor send me an hormonal treatment so I am in control with that now, but I got married seven months ago and we are trying to conceive and form a family but it’s been really difficult and I don’t know what to do. Should I cancel my hormonal treatment? Have you been in a similar situation?

  • Speak to your Doctor about whether the hormone treatment may cause problems ttc, they may also be able to do other tests and give more advice.  Unfortunately ttc especially with pcos can be a very long thing

  • Hi! I am sorry about your situation, i am a newbie on the forum but I know how you feel and I also know that you are not alone :) . I also think that you should go to a specialist and tell him your worries, he surely will help you or give you some options to try. Don´t feel sad and don´t give up because you are not alone, you will find the answers. Wish you the best!!

  • Hi, good to know you! PCOS can cause infertility. You should talk to your doctor about it and he will give you instructions. This is more normal than you think. A lot of women with PCOS get succesfully pregnant after a while. Don't worry. Be positive about it.
    Hope and good wishes.
    xx

Last week I went to my doctor and he run some test outs and I hope the results can show us something, I know that TTC wiht PCOS is really hard but I think that 2 years has been too much, I hope to find some answers soon!
