Anyone had experience with Luteal Phase defect?

Hello, I've been TTC #2 for 11 months it took us 16 months for #1. By tracking ovulation I've established that i have a short luteal phase, usually about 8 days. 

I've started on progesterone cream, ordered online to try and help but I wondered if anyone has any self help advice or if anyone knows what the NHS treatment plan is likely to look like?
