Could clomid help?

Hi ladies so for the passed few months I’ve been ovulating very late in my cycle (7 days before my period is due) I’ve read that it can be very difficult to concieve ovulating this late and I’m wondering if clomid would help this problem? Does anyone know how easy it is to get off doctor ? (Been ttc 12 month doctor is already aware and is taking my bloods next week)
