Blood tests

Hello everyone. I am new to this place and I've been reading you for the past month.

My partner just got pregnant for the first time and we are extremely happy. She is almost six weeks and yesterday we had the first appointment and she did the blood tests. Today though we had a call from the hospital and booked an appointment for next Thursday to go and check the results with the gp. I'm a bit worried to be honest because yesterday they said us that no news regarding the blood test are good news. So what do the pregnancy blood test show? Should we be worried?
