Medical question? TTC & something feels wrong

This is a medical question and I know I need to see a doctor and I certainly will- I’m just curious if I can get some guidance or hear a similar experience from anyone in the interim...We’ve started trying TTC a 2nd child, my first is now 5 and I’m 39. 

The last three months we’ve tried (unsuccessfully) I experienced cramping from around 2-3 days post ovulation and it persists (and progressively gets more intense) right up until I get my period. 

I’ve had all my bloods and urine tested in preparation for conceiving (and apparently I’m perfectly healthy) however I’ve not yet had a pap. 

This problem only happens when we TTC and it doesn’t feel right. 

Any ideas?
