I have PCOS. It is generally diagnosed by having 2 or more of the common symptoms. I had a blood test many years ago by my GP because I was concerned about irregular periods, I was not thinking of babies back then, and she suspected I may have it but was only interested in managing my symptoms. More recently it was confirmed by a fertility specialist with blood tests and an internal ultrasound after over a year of TTC. Nearly 2 years on and I’m still trying.
