How long did it take for periods to become regular?

Hello so me and my husband have been trying to conceive for over a year now and I was put on metformin at the end of November 2020. I was on it for 7 weeks before I had a period, it's now been nearly 6 weeks since my last period and I don't want to get my hopes up that I could be pregnant. I have also been diagnosed with PCO so my periods are irregular anyway. But I was put on metformin to help my body release eggs and regulate my periods. I was just wondering how long it took people to fall pregnant on merformin and when your periods started ro regulate?

    It took me around a year. After maybe three or four months the cycles were somewhat regular but I had some cycles that were over a week longer. After a year they were all regular +/-
