The first few times we took our boys underwater at Water Babies I was apprehensive - but not terrified. If I hadn't wanted them to have to a go at swimming underwater they wouldn't have done it! I'm so pleased that I didn't let my worries influence what we actually did because our sons - now age 4 and 6 are brilliant swimmers.
They swim with the local swim club, with the 6 year old in lessons with children aged 8 and 9 and he wants to do diving club in the summer holidays! The younger one isn't as keen, but he can swim well and has a real appreciation of appropriate behaviour in and around swimming pools and water in general.
And we met some lovely people who we are still friends with now, long after our Water Babies have 'graduated' from their lessons! They are the best thing we've ever done with our babies x
