  • Hi everyone, thought I’d post in this one now before I end up losing the link in the other thread. 14+5 today and I need to empty my bladder allllll the time and I am still mega tired! Finding it extremely difficult to get into the habit of side sleeping but I’m unsure how much of risk sleeping on the back or stomach is? I’m trying though! It’s only when I’m trying to get to sleep when I wake in the night it’s easier to fall back to sleep on my side. (I feel it too early to buy a pillow I’m scared of jinxing)
  • I sleep on my stomach and my back I’m sure it’s only when you get heavily pregnant you can’t sleep on your front or back?! I might be wrong though, but I still do it. I mainly sleep on my front or on my side . I have a pillow but I just can’t seem to get comfortable with that either at the minute . I’m finding myself really restless and just can’t get comfortable . If you think a pillow would help you then I would just buy one , at your stage now I’m sure you wouldn’t be jinxing anything. I feel for you with the bladder situation mines not too bad at the minute ! Xx
  • @Bethan_xo you’ve made me feel at ease with the sleeping the only place I’ve heard it is online, if it was that bad then I think the midwife would of said something. I seem to wee more in the night, nearly every 2 hours not so much in the day maybe as I’m concentrating working but I’m glad someone else is the same 🤦🏻‍♀️😂xx
  • @BethO I'm not sure about back/front sleeping. I can't sleep on my back now as it makes me feel sick after about 5 minutes, so I'm swapping and changing sides through the night as I have burning pain in my left hip if I lay on it for longer than about 90 minutes. I'm going to look at a pregnancy pillow and see if it does any good. Normal pillows don't, so I'm not sure if a specialised one would just be a waste of money or not.

Regarding weeing in the night, I'm with you on that one. Every 90 minutes to 2 hours I'm getting up. Needless to say I'm still absolutely exhausted every day too, I feel your pain!! 😳🙄 x
  • Im also a stomach sleeper, dreading when the time comes and i cant lay on my stomach🤣xx
  • Morning ladies, i still find myself almost on my front i lie with one leg flat and 1 bent so im like half on my belly, at the moment im comfortable like that but im the same i do worry. Im 14 + 6 today and have been so anxious the last few days really missing my symptoms xx
  • Hi ladies,  I don't know what happened but I couldn't log on to my old account which was "beni96" so I had to make a new one 😅  I'm 15+2 today , have a scan on Thursday they will look at the corpus luteum  cyst that I have , I really pray it hasn't grown and it will dissappear:( in general my vomiting has passed but still get nausea sometimes,  but I don't feel pregnant lol , I mean I don't have a belly yet (this is my 2nd pregnancy so thought ill be showing sooner) and it gets me worried if the baby is growing fine . Just stupid thoughts 🙄🙄
  • @Benka96 hey hun, im so glad you said you dont feel pregnant and you are at same stage as me maked me feel more at ease. So glad your sickness had subsided. Ive just stumbled across this article and its really helped relax me especially number 2. Seems we all stress about the same things. I hope the link works.
    Xx

  • @emi90 were the same EDD aren’t we, @Benka96 I’m glad you’ve both said you don’t feel pregnant, are we meant to? This is my first and I just look a little bloated and feel normal, it definitely makes me panic if everything is ok, when do people usually show or feel things?
  • @BethO oh yeah  glad your feeling the same. Sounds like were all stressing about similar things but makes me feel better knowing im not alone. 11 days to go till my next scan and im excited to know what sex were having but ill just be relieved to see my baby again haha xx

  • @emi90 9 days for me for the gender scan, it’s so exciting isn’t it! I just keep worrying that’s my problem. Seems to be normal to not feel anything at this stage.
  • @beth0 they say with your first that you wont feel anything till 20-24 weeks. Its hard not to wotry.  Worry is the reality of motherhood from conception till forever!! Xx
  • @BethO aww i bet you cant wait! I never thought is be as anxious as i am.  Like you said its comforting reading that so many of us are feeling "not pregnant" between the same weeks xx
  • It’s a weird stage after the initial symptoms go and then waiting to actually be able to feel baby moving. My first I think I was about 20 weeks I could feel him , my second I could feel from 16 weeks so I’m hoping to feel this one around the 16 week mark too! I’ve officially booked my gender scan for 12th December eeeek can’t believe it’s not long until we all find out . How exciting xx
  • Im hoping I'll feel baby around 20 weeks rather 24 that feels forever away but i guess we will have to see xx
  • Do you all feel like the time has gone fast and were all in the 4th month as such being able to find out genders in the next few weeks?
I presume that after a certain period of time it starts to drag?
I think I’m more anxious than normal because of of problems with a previous pregnancy, I’m just amazed at how fast the time goes and how fast that little baby grows inside!
  • Time really has gone fast. That third trimester really does seem to drag.  Anxiety has been a big thing in all my pregnancies i just try to tell myself take each day as it comes and whatever im.dealt i can handle, it'll just make me stronger!! also its really hard when you've experienced problems in previous pregnancies it adds more to it!! Then when you hear of others going through devastating situations it puts you more on edge. (I had this yesterday) can't stop thinking about it, its really hard!! You just have to try keep positive and remember every pregnancy is different and if its meant to be it will be!! That's one thing that took me a long long time to realize 💗😘
  • I went to my routine 16 weeks appointment this morning and ended up in an emergency scan at the hospital. Thankfully all is fine but I had a few stressful hours where I thought it was all over.

I don't particularly feel pregnant, I get a tiny bump (could be fat haha) and feeling bubbles from time to time but that's about it. SO when the community midwife couldn't locate the heartbeat I was devastated. She called 2 other midwives but none of them were able to locate the baby. They kept on telling me it is very common at this stage and not to worry but I was in tears thinking of the worst.

The hospital was really busy so had to wait a couple of hours to be seen (it felt like more) and then there it was on the screen, with a heartbeat, just chilling out. She even tried to see the gender but the baby was not playing game and she didn't have time. Frankly as long as it's healthy I'm happy to wait another week to find out.

I took the rest of the day off to recover as it got me really stressed. So for allthose out there who don't have symptoms it doesn't mean anything, try not to panic. I feel so silly for bursting into tears at the midwife appointment and the hospital.

I too have trouble sleeping on my side though and read about back sleeping too. I almost always end up on my back else I get sore legs in the morning.

Good luck to you all :)
