maybe a stupid question

i have only just come of the implanon yesterday im just wondering that because the dr said i would be able to get pregnant straight away, if i did luckily get pregnant straight away would i then have my first period or do i need my first period befpore i can get pregnant because i have heard of a lot of ppl that have got pregnant the week after they take it out! hope thats not too confusing? be great full for some help! thanks

  • I'm not 100% sure but I understand that you theoreticly don't have to have a period first. If you have sex when you ovulate then you can get pregnant straight away - potentially anyway.

  • Hey hun, they only recommend waiting at least a month before trying to reduce the risk of a mc. Helps to thicken the lining of your womb. xxx
