I thought it couldn't get any worse!

Got blood test results back today, had a proper issue trying to get the results - said the earliest they could do it was next Tuesday, even though results were there! Had a proper strop and asked for the practice manager when all of a sudden she realised the nurse could tell me if I made an appointment! Went in and was told my HcG levels were lower than normal and that I wasn't pregnant ( which I expected!) What I didn't expect her to say was that she doubted I have ever been pregnant! I had 3 BFP's one of them was as strong as the control line!
How could I get 3 positives if I have never conceived! So the only plus of me not being pregnant was the thought that we could at least conceive and now that has been taken away from us! So sad, just feel like an empty shell! Due to all of this I haven't been sleeping and now it's affecting work!

Life isn't fair.

    Oh hun, I don't know what to say. It sucks, basically.
    Did the nurse say why she thought you'd never actually been pregnant? Just, like you say, it doesn't make sense if you had 3 positives.

    Thats awful. Can you be seen by any one else? Do you have to be seen by the nurse, can you not be seen by your gp to double check. Did she say why she thought you hadnt conceived as you can't get false positives can you? xx

    oh no thats rubbish for you! though i must say it does seem weird. i'm not a doctor or a nurse but it seems bizarre that you got 3 positives if you weren't ever pregnant. and your hcg levels must have risen quite a lot co you got a +ve on a CBD didn't you? and then they've obviously fallen a lot if they're now lower than normal. i'd def try to make an appointment with someone else and see what they think about it xxx

    That's what I thought, it just doesn't seem right! Got a very faint line on CB +/- not on CBD and then got 3 positives on superdrug tests. Got an appointment on Monday with my doctor, going to insist that we are sent to a specialist!

    Oh honey, im so sorry that you are sad. Did the nurse not listen at all, or were you in too much shock? I never think of things to say at the time, and with being so upset at that news.
