memory span of a newborn????

what is the memory span of a baby of 3 weeks old???

my hubby's boss has kindly dropped a bombshell that he wants him to work away in a couple of weeks for 5 weeks. he will go either on a sunday night and come back on friday night or go monday morning and come back saturday morning. my concern is will my 3 week old baby forget her dad during those 5 days??? have googled it but can't find anything. xxxxx

no, she won't forget her dad. She will know his voice and his smell and his familiarity with her. Remember, she will have heard his voice for 9 months before she was born! She may be a little nervey at first, but definately not forget him.
