HELP - could I be pg? Also in preg... UPDATE!

Thanks so much for reading, I don't normally post, but know how helpful you ladies can be...

TMI warning...

Anyway, I had a baby 9 months ago, my periods returned a few months ago and I've had a regular cycle every 30 days for 4 months, until this month. 2 days before my period was due I had a very small amount of brownish/dark read discharge, but barely enough to cover the middle of my sanitary pad...

Normally I would take this as the start of my period but nothing has happened. So I'm thinking was this an implantaion bleed, or are my periods still messed up from having a baby in the last year??

Hubby and I have not been very careful or used any protection, but I thought we had missed our window of preg opportunity by a few days!!

I know I could just take a test, but I feel sooo nervous, for both a positive and negative result!

UPDATE: Thanks so much for your help girls. Well I did it and got a BFP! So happy , and ever so slightly terrified of having 2 so young, but yay!!

It sounds like it might have been implantation or old blood leaving your body which also is common, Only way is to bite the bullet and do a test hun. superdrugs own brand are very good and sensitive so should pick something up if your are preg.Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for the reply. You're right, I need to take a test. With no AF gonna have to do it sooner or later...so excited and nervous! xx

agreed,only way is to bite the bullet and test,then you'l know if its your cycle messing around or not,it does sound like implantation,but 1 thng ive found is AF works n mysterous way to i never guess anything now lol

yeah i would say do a test my periods have always been back to normal within 3-4 months of having a baby. definatly do a test luv!

Big congrats hun, there is only 10 months between my eldest 2 children. Not planned i was on the pill with both.
