Is it ok to use a second hand cot mattress?
in Baby
hi ladies, the cot we are using for my 7 month old is falling to bits (its the cot i used as a baby) we brought a new matress for it but am struggling to find a second hand cot the same size to fit our mattress, so do you think it would be ok to but a bigger cot that comes with a second hand mattress??i would prefer not to pay out for another new one as money is pretty tight, but obviously if i shouldnt use a second hand one i will have to find the money.
thanks

I have always been told that you need to buy a new matress and that you should never use a second hand cot matress. hth x
