  Yep I dry pail mine too so no water or anything!

  We dry pail too. If you don't like the smell (there's not smell when lid is on) then you can add some drops of essential oil if you like.

  Looks like I'm with the majority here - dry pailing too. We do use a mesh bag though which I'd really recommend if you don't already have one. Then you can just scoop up the bag with nappies already inside and put it all in the machine in one go.
  I still find it hard to understand why people think washables are such hard work...
