Boys Christening Outfits??

Were having the boys christened on 8th August. Theyll be 10 months old.

I have no idea what to dress them in. I dont think we can do the traditional outfits as theyre so so mobile (substitute 'wrigglers!') and I think they'd be really grumpy and upset.

However, what do I put them in? We dont have tons of money so cant be too expensive, and id like them to be dressed the same as we dont dress them the same, EVER! lol!

Can anyone recommend anything?

I think little boys look soooo cute in trousers, shirt and waistcoat.....like little men!!! I'm sure AKA posted a piccie of her son dressed like that and he was adorable.

You can pick this type of clothing up quite cheap in many places, such as Sainsburys, Matalan etc.

My daughter is being christened on the 15th August...exciting isn't it!!! Hope it goes well.

We had our 8 month old wriggler christened last month and decided that as she is no longer an infant we would choose a nice party dress that could be used again (and it has been) could you choose something a smart shirt and trousers with a waistcoat maybe.

Hugo was christened today - he's 7 and a half months. He wore his father's family Christening robe (worn by his father, grandfather, great grandmother!) and then for the reception he wore this: http://www.johnlewis.com/11912/Style.aspx?SearchTerm=RecentlyViewedList

He looked very cute but am rather hoping that the drycleaner can get the food stains out of the trousers as he moved a little too quickly for the wet wipe poised above his hands! We have a wedding next month so the outfit will get another airing.
