When freezing purees in ice cube trays....

that don't have lids do you put clingfilm over or put in a freezer/food bag?

I would of put into a freezer food bag, but either I suppose is good.
With a freezer bag you can write the date you made it on though.

I used to put the tray into the freezer as it was (not covering it) and when the food had frozen, I would take it out of the tray and put it in a bag and label the bag. That way I coudl use the tray again.

I used to put the trays inside a freezer bag, label the bag and then, when frozen, tip the cubes into the bag and reuse the tray.

I wrap in clingfilm then pop them into a freezer bag once set. x
