Follow on milk

Probably a stupid question...

We had decided not to bother with follow on milk as Charlie eats a varied diet and will get enough iron anyway, but my husband came back with it from the supermarket as it was on offer.

On the pack it has instructions to make up 7oz, In contrast to first milk which explains how to make up feeds with guidance on how many, but there is no guidance on quantity on the follow on pack.

Is he only supposed to have the follow on milk for one 7oz feed, and other first milk for the other feeds, or can I substitute all his feeds (4x8oz) with it?

  • You substitute all feeds, and make them up the same way you are used to. 8oz water to 8 scoops powder.
