Portable highchairs
in Baby
Hi ladies
Can anyone recommend a 'portable highchair' - either something that attaches to a chair or table? Needs to fold up small and not be toooo heavy. Oh and also suitable for a teeny baby (only 13lb 8oz but able to sit unaided no problem as she's 8 1/2 months old)
Thanks, Nn x

My daughter is a little bigger than yours, 14lb 7oz at nearly 7 months.

Basically it's just like a harness but fastens around any type of chair. Baby sits on the chair, so isn't at table height. The great thing is that it's small, I can carry it around in my changing bag and always have something to use so that it keeps him still. HTH xx

... and it's brilliant.
It has a 5 point harness and as LO is a wiggler she's really safe in it. It straps to a chair or just sits on the floor so is brilliant for picnics too.

Did you manage to get a portable highchair yet? I just remembered (when Kiddicare delivered mine) that I said I'd report back on the TotSeat.
My daughter is 7 months and only just sitting unaided. She was 14lb 7oz 2 weeks ago.
She was fine in the TotSeat, maybe it came up a bit high on her front so was quite high under her arms if you know what I mean, but certainly manageable. I tested it all ways to see if she'd slip out of it at all, but it seemed to work really well.
So mine was delivered today for our holiday on Monday, can't wait!
Anyway thought I'd post on the off chance you were still undecided.

- it's fab because it fits in my handbag, but as my DD1 is petite (like yours) it's not perfect because she's so low down she can barely see over the table.
We also have one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/First-Years-Winnie-Pooh-Booster/dp/B000FCUOLS
- can't recommend it highly enough - it's lightweight and not too bulky to cart about, but because the seat inflates LO is still raised to a decent height.
Hope that helps.
