Just an idea but I've googled

    Hope that helps image

  • From my childhood Usborne First cookbook:

1lb soft brown sugar, 2oz butter or marg, 1/2 pint of milk and a few drops of vanilla essence.

Heat the sugar butter and milk in a saucepan until the sugar disolves. Bring to the boil, stiring all the time. Boil for about 30 minutes. Drip a little into a bowl of cold water. It will form a soft ball when it is done. When done take it off the heat add the vanilla and beat until thick and creamy. Pour into a greased 6in x 6in baking tin. Then leave it to set.

You can also add cocoa, nuts or raisins etc to it.
  • Thank you ladies - I have made my first attempt at choc fudge, I willlet you know how it turns out!!
