vibrating chair

hiya, just wondered if anyone could recommend a good vibrating chair to buy? i've seen a couple of people mention these as being very good at helping to settle babies in the day who won't usually be put down and that's definitely something i'd like a bit of help with at the moment!

Ours was the best best best best thing we bought in the early days. Dd took all her daytime naps in it until she started trying to escape from it. She was also happy sitting in it watching the washing dry, in the garden etc and I couldn't do without it. In fact I can remember when hubby was trying to change the battery and undid the wrong screw and thought he'd broken it, I nearly had a breakdown.... I blame the hormones!

Anyway, we had the Fisher Price Precious Planet one - it has a big picture of a giraffe on the seat and a toy bar which has an elephant and a hippo on it. It was about ??30 but that was the best ??30 I've spent.

We have two of the precious Planet ones for our boys - they both Loved the chair and still do - although they were not that fussed by the vibrations for long, but love being bounced.

They also take a snozze in them. A real Bargain!

We loved ours, we had the winnie the pooh one from mothercare. We don't use the vibration mode anymore but it is all she will take a nap in even still. No idea what I will do when she grows out of it!!! She never wanted the toybar so honestly I would just get the cheapest vibrating chair. We wanted everything matching, pretty much the most pointless thing we did!!! xxx

That's pretty much it, except the giraffe didn't come all the way to the top and the toy bar was slightly different so they must have redesigned it since we bought it, but it is essentially the same.

We've got a fisher price link-a-do's one which is fab! Dexter would only last a few minutes in his old one but he's happy in this for ages and normally has his daytime naps in it. It's a rocking chair with a toy bar and vibrates but it can also be used as a toddler chair so got it for the long term!

just to let you know that i got a chair yesterday in the sale and it is magical! not foolproof but he is settling in it pretty well and before wouldn't really settle anywhere apart from on me or DH! thanks to those who recommended getting one!
