I've just been prescribed Clomid 50mg from day 2 - day 6 of my cycle and have just read on here that you should not be prescribed this over the age of 40! I'm 41 and have been ttc for 2 years! now I'm worried! any advice?

So apparently my GP can’t prescribe it, needs to be prescribed by a consultant in this area (so happy I got it, thanks to 'get50clmd'), I did some research last night for my area - cheapest seems £400 per cycle including monitoring, most expensive was £550, neither include initial consultation costs...

You can't purchase this medication online or just buy it. You need a prescription for it. I just started my first round prescribed by my Ob/GYN.
