I came across your post as I know what its like to really want to know but you need a shot between the legs for anyone to be able to guess for the nub theory.
If you don't have one I have found you have to specifically ask the sonographer for a full length.

Sorry!! unable to guess it. We can determine the baby's gender with an ultrasound scan showing baby's genital area.
