I've been wittering on to the 3rd tri ladies about the nursery and it's close to being done. Thought I'd share. It's the smallest room in the house, so pretty compact, but functional
Hope the pics aren't too massive...
The panda is baby's first cuddly, bought for him/her by big brother
We're really pleased with what we managed to get in to a small room. None of the furniture was bought new except the changing table, so we did well really. I remember when pregnant with Harry, I was only 19 and we were broke because I couldn't work and was on SSP. We were given a secondhand cot, and half-used paint pots from family. We used birthday money from family to buy 2 pieces of super-cheap furniture from Wickes basic range, and I sat for hours cutting out shapes from wrapping paper and glueing them on to various furniture/spaces in the room. Teddy bears and shapes and letters. Cheapest makeover ever
Ah it looks lovely! Where did you get your shelves from please? They could do nicely for Sam's room, and, not that we've had chance to look extensively, but haven't seen any to suit so far!
