Can anyone recommend a bath support?
We don't want a baby bath as we don't really have the space for one, so will just buy a support for baby to go in the big bath. I've seen loads, ranging from foam pads, to plastic shaped stand things and then towelling ones over a metal frame.
Can anyone recommend one? I cant see how some of them would be comfy!

We have this one...

It's a bit more expensive than the rest but she seems comfy when she's lying on it and she's only just outgrown it at six months. If you're short on space though it might be a pain as it doesn't fold down. It's great having two hands free, especially if (like me) you get a baby who hates baths!

We used this 1 http://www.tesco.com/direct/summer-infant-deluxe-baby-bather-blue/210-1366.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=210-1366
it seemed very comfy & not at all slippery & was handy that it folded away
We had the same one as Blackkat. As I mentioned on the other thread, we didn't actually use it at home, because she didn't go into the big bath until she could sit up well, but we did send it to my parents' house when she stayed over, so the main attraction for us was that it folded up to fit into a bag for transporting.

Oh yes I completely forgot we were given something similar to Mrs Bass' by a friend which we used for a few weeks in the baby bath. It was brilliant as it gave me one hand free to wash her.
We had a towelling one over a metal frame from John Lewis and it was great. Could easily wash it and she was quite snug and comfy in it. Used it all the way through to about 7/8 months when she could sit nice and sturdily
Angelcare ones here. They love them!
We've got the summer bath support too. O loves it and I suspect would last in until he can sit properly.
Although today he has learnt that he can push himself off it with his feet. Great.
Same as mrsbass www.mothercare.com/.../ProductExtensions-GetImageZoom loved it and will use it again.
Thanks guys. The towelling ones over metal frames just didn't look comfy to me but its good to know you have used them with no issues! We looked at the Angel Care ones too, H liked the look of them (!)
Thanks guys
The good thing about the towelling ones is that the baby isn't then lying on a hard plastic surface like some supports. The metal frame doesn't touch baby. An alternative would be the sponge type.
Just as another option for you Rod, there are folding baby baths which fold up nice and compact. I know Stokke do one.
