A is quite good with a pre-loaded spoon, and this evening started placing food onto the spoon and then putting the spoon in her mouth, so we were thinking of giving her a fork to jab the food she wants.
What age were your LOs when they started using a fork? A will be 1 in a couple of weeks

I think we started giving a spoon for E to use herself about 8 months (but I had one to use too!) I think she was about 12 months for a fork. Good luck! x
F was using a spoon and fork before 12 months. It was a bit hit and miss at times but he soon got the hang of it. Unfortunately since he started nursery 3 weeks ago, he's decided he doesn't want to use a fork but that's another matter!
