Question about Moses basket mattresses
I ordered a new replacement mattress for my Moses basket online. It's come today and is a perfect fit so I'm very pleased but I just wanted to check something.
the original mattress ( from mamas and papas, ) when you took the cover off it it was just a piece of foam but at one end where the head would lay it had 4 or 5 circles cut out about the size of a 20p. I'm assuming for airflow?
This new mattress doesn't have that, it's just foam but no holes. Does anyone else have one like that or are they always meant to have those holes? I guess its no big effort for me to cut a few holes in it since its just a piece of foam, but don't want to if I don't need to.

Mine doesn't have holes, sounds like just a fancy design extra which they probably advertise as essential airflow!
