Child benefit
weve just lost our child benefit. My hubbie earns 60k and me 7k. My husband does a 9-5 job and I then work evenings/weekends to make the difference up!
Our friends - husbands on 48k and she's on 46k still get child benefit. Both work 9-5 and have grandparents to look after little ones! how is this fair!

You should still be entitled to Child Benefit, it is Family Tax Credits that are means tested. I would phone up the child benefit line & enquire why the claim has been stopped
