Bfp yesterday bleeding today- help! :(

hi everyone,

so I got my beautiful bfp on 3 tests yesterday. I'm 4 weeks pregnant. I was so very happy. Then this morning I have some light spotting. I went to my gp who suggested I go to the epu tomorrow morning. Then this afternoon at around 4 I started to spot heavier red blood and now am having what is close to a period. I'm so sad and dont know what to think. Anyone go through this?
