Please help!! The name Eden, boy or girls name?
Hello, i really love the name Eden for a boy but when we were discussing names with family, my partners mum said it was a girls name, what do you all think? Thanks x

Totally unhelpful BUT i know a boy and a girl with the name Eden!
By the way, try to avoid discussing names with parents and inlaws - they will always disagree and might put you off the name! (Well that's what my family did...)

I would say boy on first glance but suppose it coulD apply to a girl too

your welcome. By googling this I found there has been a lot of debate about whether this is a boys or girls name with a mixed response
I've only ever heard it as a girls name, it does sound quite feminine to me
I have never heard it as a name for either sex, but I like it! I think it works quite well for either personally.
To me it sounds more like boy name and maibe it is because I know two boys that has this name.
