Princess Charlotte's christening: what's the best christening gift for a baby, do you think?

Hello

Kensington Palace have just announced that little Princess Charlotte will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Sandringham on Sunday July 5th.

And that's made us wonder what gifts people give for christenings or naming ceremonies these days?

If you had your baby christening recently, or held a naming ceremony, what gifts did people bring that were particularly lovely? Or, if you went to a christening/naming ceremony, what did you take as a gift for the baby?

Please do tell. We'd really love to know!

  • I never know what to get. I think the traditional thing is something special the baby will treasure when they grow up (like a charm bracelet) but lots of people nowadays bring clothes and toys. Last one I went to, I gave a picture frame.

  • I cam here to find some inspiration, I'm going to my nieces christening soon, I already bought her dress for her, but I need to find a gift to give on the day as well.
