Egg twin carrycots

I have bought a Egg twin pushchair with the carry cots and when using it for the first time with the carrycots the bottom carry cots doesn't have enough room for my baby. I have just had twins and my little girl only weighs 5.13  when she puts on a few more pounds in the next few weeks she will not fit in the bottom cot! These carrycots are to use until they are 5/6 months old. 

These Egg pushchair/carrycots are not fit for purpose. Does anyone else have this style/or any advice please.

i am going to contact Egg can I ask for my money back?
