One that a friend lent me is What to Expect When You're Expecting. I don't personally think it's as good, not as informative and no piccies (well only black & white drawings) and i found it a bit too American.
I know a lot of people swear by "what to expect when your expecting" but I haven't read it - so I don't know what it is like. (think it is a paper back though).
Also for your OH - I love "the blokes guide to pregnancy" (think it's by John Smith - again, not certain) which is a very easy read and has loads of great info.
Happy hunting.

I bought the rough guide to pregnancy but to be honest I haven't picked it up for weeks. I find the net a great tool if you have any questions and the odd pregnancy magazine. "I'm Pregnant!" is probably the best value for money.
Hope this helps
