Car Seats

I have been looking around on the internet for car seats and really like the Maxi Cosi range in Mothercare. The seat is ??115 and then the Isofix base is also ??115. Does this sound about right for a car seat or is it particularly expensive? I know they only last for a year.

Also, when I get my next seat (after 12 months), can I use the same base ?

Hi we're getting the maxi cosi and I have seen on ebay brand new the maxi cosi and the easy base for ??152. There are loads on there so its worth having a look.

Thanks - I think I'm going to have to take a trip to mothercare (once I've hit 12 weeks and bumping into someone wouldn't cause awkward questions!) to check it all out !

We got our maxi cosi car seat and isofix base from John Lewis. The seat was ??90 and the base ??107. I have seen them cheaper on Amazon although the price does go up and down! x

I don't think you can use the base for the bigger baby seat. I'm sure I have heard that

I think we will be going for Maxi Cosi too. I have had a search online for places you can buy the seat and base as a set and have come uop with this:
