raised platelets

Hi all

Had a letter from the hospital asking me to go back for a repeat blood test as my first one from booking in showed high platelets
i had a quick look on the web, but scared myself , so have stopped looking,
Does anyone have any experience of a similar problem,

    hiya,
    i had platlits problem but when they checked again everything was fine they just kept checking me.

    my platelets are 130 so quite low and at the beg of my preg they were 170 i think gone down quite bit but they can b low during preg but dnt really kno bout high ones sorry.peoples range from 200-400 i think my mw sed im not sure if thats wen ur preg or just in general ppl
