20 month gap, double buggy??

hi

ive posted this in the baby section too as not sure where is appropriate.

I’m after some advice from people who have been there! We are due our 2nd child in January and there will be a 20 month gap between the new baby and our little boy. 16 months At the moment he is walking but still relies a lot on the pushchair.

will I need a double buggy? It’s going to be winter so we won’t be out for long When we are.

do I get a buggyboard?

do I rely on a sling for new baby?

i was looking at cheaper double strollers but I relied on keeping my son asleep in his car seat a lot so I’m thinking about getting another travel system now but it’s the cost!

any advice would be great thank you!

  • EDIT- title is meant to say 20 month gap not 29!!

  • You know both my kids loved their buggies - they hated walking anywhere, so for me, i would totally need a double. But some kids are really happy on buggy boards - i think at 20months, your eldest will still need naps if out and about and they can get tired quickly, so i reckon a double buggy, but one that's suitable for toddler and one with a lay flat seat too (think Joie or McLaren might do these which would be cheaper) x

  • Thanks Bobbie i think I’ll defijitely get one, even if we don’t go out much I’ll still beednon on occasions where we do. Like you say naps are going to be happening still
