Can heartburn be a early indicator of pregnancy?

I’m probably just symptom spotting but the last few days I’ve had really painful heartburn (even in the mornings before I’ve had a meal). I don’t usually suffer with it unless I eat something really spicy. 

I’m due on in a week, been TTC 14 months. Can this be an early sign or am I just reading too much into it? Also constantly feeling full and I’m a bit gassy (sorry tmi).

    I have heard that heartburn can be an early symptom but I’m not sure why. 🤞🏻 For you! Keep us updated x
