I think the best way to make a birth easier is by taking these 2 tips:
1. First be fit. A fit mother is a healthy mother. and a fit healthier is mentally more capable of taking more pain.
2. Learn as many techniques as possible for labor pain relief. Sometimes you can't get there in time for an epidural or you haven't been able to have the baby with one and the effects have worn off. So why continue suffering?
