Lasts night's The Bill

Have not watched the bill for years and have two questions for you.

Firstly was te black poiliceman Ash out of casulty from years ago?

Secondly what happened at the end who done it etc as I fell asleep with 20mins to go and woke up just as it finished, so missed the best bit.

    that was wednesday nights.... last nights was a bit rubbish really! lol it was the homeless guy that did it but only in self defence coz she ran up behind him he didnt get charged or anything. i found it a bit dull! x
