I have three boys, one born last week so hard to gauge his personality. However the older two are like chalk & cheese. My oldest son is actually more how you have described girls, he listens well but tries to put his point across if he feels he's been wronged. He enjoys quiet play, is occasionally boisterous but no more than girls his age that we know. He doesn't fall out with friends often though & is rarely aggressive. My middle son is how you describe a typical boy but I really think is untrue to say "boys are like this & girls are like that" it depends on the child. I also believe birth order is another thing that can play a part in our personalities.
