I’ve been wondering for a while now, I have a 9 week little boy and he is drinking 6oz very 3ish hours. Is this about right or is it quite a lot for his age? Curious:)
Our boy is 9 weeks and he’s taking 6 oz every 4-5 hours. theres a formula (pardon the pun) to work out how much baby should have roughly, it’s Offer 2.5 ounces of formula per pound of body weight each day. For example, if your baby weighs 6 pounds, you'll give her about 15 ounces of formula in a 24-hour period.
you don’t seem far off to me.
also if your baby is 9 weeks you should be in the January babies thread with the rest of us x
I felt like my lo was eating soo much so I started planning his feeds. I now feed him every 4 hours and I give him 7oz in the morning and pre bed, he gets 6oz other times. He is 11 weeks now. Chech is right and it should be about 2.5oz for every pound so what your lo is eating sounds about right
