For us it has to be a lovely spring lamb joint with rosemary and garlic. All the trimmings - roast potatoes, roast carrots, roast onions, roast parsnip (all in one big tin to save on washing up) and being a Yorkshire lass, I always want Yorkshire pudding, it doesn’t matter what the meat is!
A Lovely sticky toffee pudding and custard for dessert with custard.
Later on a lovely toasted hot cross bun (or two, or three) with slightly slated butter melted over the top.
You can't get any better than a roasted leg of lamb, creamy mashed potato, roasties, yorkshire puddings and root vegetables with a generous helping of mint sauce!
