What do we think of the name Edie?

Me and my husband really like the name Edie for our baby girl due December, but are unsure how to spell it. I am worried it will get mistaken for 'Eddie'. So I have come across it being spelled 'Eadie' but not sure?
Edie or Eadie?

TIA :)

  • Edie is a cute name, like Edie Sedgwick. I dont think it would be confused with Eddie.
  • I love it- my colleague has a daughter called Edie. The only reason I wouldnt use it myself is my history with eating disorders. I used to think of my disorder by name as my 'E-D' or 'ED'  (as many sufferers do) so I couldnt us it as a name. Neither could I use Edward or Ed.
  • The name Edie is a girl's name of English origin meaning "prosperous in war".

My daughter name is Edie, And I love this name.
